Welcome fans to your weekly round up of stories from the last 7 days.
The main story of the week was the sad news of the death of Apple
Co-founder and Chairman, Steve Jobs, on Wednesday. It is a testament to
Apple's current popularity that people were so aware of who he was and
were saddened by his death, something that may not have been true 20
years ago when Apple were struggling and Jobs was at his new company,
NeXT Computer Inc. He will always be remembered as the man who brought
the iMac, iPod and iPhone to the world, when he returned to the company
in 1996. He should also be remembered for the brilliant work he did
helping to turn Pixar into the fantastic film producing studio it is
today. Anyway enough with this depressing stuff, here at JC/DC we aim to
brighten up your week, rather than darken it like all these "Real" news
outlets tend to do. So on to the weird news!
